Global warming, terrorism, nuclear proliferation, corruption, deforestation, and hunger. The fuel crisis of 2014 turned into the energy crisis of 2015. As weather patterns changed, and as governments around the world became corporate entities, slowly but surely the world’s population grew. And with that growth came increased stress levels, and as people’s immunes systems gave way the great plague decimated cities, forcing the world into panic. The epidemic wiped out half the world’s population.
Cyberterrororists destroyed order, as people’s records were destroyed and religious fanaticism around the world bred even more hate and death. People no longer wanted to raise children in a future like this. The world’s population further receded.
Nations all over the world broke up into city states, which eventually broke up into tribal communities. Industries collapsed, so technology was waning, and as the entire infrastructure of societies around the world collapsed, people reverted back to a nomadic, hunter-gatherer lifestyle. This all took place over a period of about 40 years.
But that was 130 years ago. There have always been apocalyptic predictions, but what actually happened was less the end of the world, and more the end of the world as we know it. Or knew it, rather. The humans left behind realized that by shunning nature we had poisoned not only ourselves, but our planet. They restarted civilization but vowed to always look at nature and copy its forms. A shift in human consciousness had occurred and these super-spiritual humans became less concerned with individual gain, and more concerned with restoring balance. Everything they would create would have a life of its own, and it would be modeled using only the principles of sacred geometry. Everything would be based upon the five platonic solids, and things would manifest themselves similarly to how crystals grow. Habitats would be based on self replicated forms of sacred geometry, food would be grown this way, tools, technology, transportations devices, everything. They are able to do this because technology was not lost after the collapse of the world. It only evolved. To keep themselves in check, humans even created self replicating beings that only understood the good laws of nature, harmony, and balance, and these beings would guard the new found homeostasis of the emerging civilization. This emerging utopia would spread itself, but through communication would stop its replication if it noticed that it became a burden on the earth.
