FINAL DECISION
Space Ring developed using Sacred Geometry Algorithms.
For now our idea entails that the space ring habitat would be enclosed in a semi-organic metallic membrane that is also self-replicating. This membrane would act as a sheath for the growing internal structure and would be a barrier between the habitat and the harshness of space. The membrane, or skin if you will, would grow as the ring grew, much like the human skin grows as the body and skeleton grow. The skin would replicate at the molecular level. Within the skin the strucutre would replicate and the overall process would model the growing process of Mycoplasma, which at times feature multinuclear filaments. With the presence of the protective membrane, humans would be able to live and work within the structure as it grew.
As for the frame the idea is that it would be made up of fundamental units based on the platonic solids. These would be easily manufacturable, and would actually self-replicate. As the platonic solids came together and aligned themselves, the structure would grow and create higher forms that spiraled out to form a ring. Much like in sacred geometry, the fundamental units would align and grow to more complex units, which in turn would align and form even more complex units until the structure has perfect, but not superfluous form.
